GRANDMA CAMPBELL CALLED TO HER HOME

Pioneer Iowan Answers Death Angles' Call This Morning.

Grandma Campbell passed away at half after three this morning, after a lingering illness of several months, at the advanced age of over 86 years. The old lady had bee tenderly cared for by her aged companion and her children, and it ha been known that she could not survive any length of time, so that death came not as a surprise.

The deceased's maiden name was Mary Ann Jordan and she was born in Randolph county, Ind., where she spent her girlhood days. She was united in marriage to J. P. Pool at the age of 18 and moved to Story county 55 years ago. They settled on a farm in Johnson's Grove where they raised a family of children and acquired a comfortable competency.

Nine children were born to this union, six of whom survive the parents. The father died about 13 years ago, after he had retired from the farm and moved to Nevada. The surviving children are Elza Pool of this city, John Pool of California, Mrs. Mary Kerr of Lakefield, Minn.,Henry Pool of Auborn, Neb., George Pool of Superior, Neb., and Mrs. B. F. Carr of this city.

Ten years ago the past March she was again united in marriage to Mr. E. T. Campbell, who survives her and has been a loving helpmate to her during her declining years.

The funeral services will be conducted at the M. E. church, of which the deceased was a member, tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock. The many friends of the family in this city join with them in their hour of bereavement.
