MAXWELL WOMAN IS BURIED TODAY

Mrs. Lizzie Gamble Passes Away Saturday at an Advanced Age--Funeral Today.

Special to the JOURNAL.
MAXWELL, Jan.9--On Saturday night at about 9:30 at her home in this city occurred the death of Mrs. Lizzie Gamble, an aged and respected lady. She has been in very poor health for the past several months and while the immediate family were very much worried at her condition her death came as a great shock to them. Mr. Gamble has been dead for some time. Mrs. Gamble was the mother of 12 children all of whom survive her. They are Mesdames Mary Sherman, Addie Douglass, Frankie Cole and John, Will, Charles and Bert all of whom live in Maxwell and vicinity, Mrs. Chas. Fish of Collins, Mrs. Will Tipton of Aurora, Mrs. Jennie Richardson of Nebraska, Mrs. Golden of south of Nevada and George Gamble of Dakota. The funeral will be held at the Cumberland Presbyterian church today and the relatives are hoping that Rev. VanNice of Waukon will be able to conduct the services. Interment will be in Maxwell cemetery.
