Mary, the wife of David Nelson, after a brief illness, departed this life Monday, August 13th, and was buried Tuesday the 14th. She leaves a husband and two small children to miss her and to mourn their loss. A new born babe preceded her a week to the other shore. Many friends and neighbors gathered at the home, two miles west of this place to pay a last tribute of respect to the deceased and to offer words of sympathy to the bereaved husband, aged father and mother and brothers and sisters. Rev. A. B. Shrader delivered a funeral discourse. Sepulture was laid in the Nevada cemetery.
