AREA DEATHS

MRS. CLARA SUDDUTH

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. for Mrs. Clara Sudduth, 81, of 1303 11th Street, Nevada, who died early this morning (Saturday) at the Story County Hospital.

She had been a patient there for the past three weeks.

Born Aug. 18, 1891 in Madison, Ind., she was the daughter of Mathias and Mary Ackerman. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son John of Nevada; two daughters Mrs. Fred Hopkes of Aplington an Mrs. Jerrol Carlson of Ames; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Keneal Swenson of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, five sisters and her husband Henry O. Sudduth, who died in 1956.

The funeral services Monday will be held from St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Franz Lohberg officiating. Burial was in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Rosary services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
