OBITUARIES

Arthur O. Stoeffler
March 7, 1910-June 21, 1990

Arthur O. Stoeffler, 80, of Nevada died of cancer June 21 at Story County Hospital Long Term Care.

He was born in Guttenberg to Andrew and Susan Stoeffler and married Marie Johnson on Jan. 12, 1938, in Nevada. He retired from Iowa Electric Light and Power in 1974, and was a member of Nevada Memorial Lutheran Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Fred Stoeffler of Winterset, Jim Stoeffler of Windsor, Colo., and Paul Stoeffler of Riverside, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Julie McLaughlin of Guttenberg and Minn Brady of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Visitation was held June 24 at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Services were held June 25 at Nevada Memorial Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel Solomon officiating. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery.
