Former Collins Man Died in Des Moines

The late S. W. Poorbaugh, who passed away Saturday afternoon March 16th, 1929, at Mercy hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, was buried from the Immaculate Conception church, Colfax, Iowa, Monday, March 18, at 9:30 A. M. Father Lawler who officiated at the Mass took for his text the words of St. Paul "Whatever is modest, whatever is true, whatever is just, think ye on this." The body was laid to rest by the side of his daughter, Eva, in Oak Hill cemetery.

Daniels of Bedford, Pa.

Mr. Poorbaugh was a man who fought life's battles bravely. Of this devoted husband and father it might be truly said, "He lived in a house by the side of the road, and was a friend to many."
