OBITUARIES

Mary Orr McCoy
July 26, 1905, to Jan. 29, 2003

Mary Orr McCoy, 97, of Zearing, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Zearing, where she had lived for seven years.

She was born July 26, 1905, in Colo to Jesse Wiley and Agnes (Donnelly) Orr. She graduated from Colo High School in 1924. She owned and operated J and M Cafe at Colo for 53 year and had also worked at the Colo Telephone Company a few years before that. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Colo, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's and a member of the Hi-Lo card club in Colo.

Survivors include a grandson, Mike (and Karen) McCoy of Story City; two granddaughters, Marge (and Neale) Armstrong of Council Bluffs an Kathy (and Marvin) Ness of Jewell; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 31, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo. Burial was t St. James Cemetery, Colo. Fredregill Funeral Home, Zearing, handled arrangements.
