Agnes Orr dies here at age 93, rites Tuesday

Mrs. Agnes Orr, 93, died at the Story County Hospital Saturday after an illness of 1 1/2 years. Mrs. Orr was born July 13, 1875 at Epworth, Ia. She had been a lifetime resident of the Colo community.

Mrs. Orr was a member of the Catholic Daughters Society and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anna Rose of La Grange, Ill., Mrs. Mary McCoy of Colo and Mrs. Floyd (Marguerite) Templeton of Goldfield, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Donnelley of Colo also survives. Her husband, Wylie, preceded her in death in 1941 as did a son, John, in 1962 and another son, Grant, in 1965.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Francis Cassidy in charge. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Colo.

The body has been taken from the Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing to the Orr home where a rosary was recited Sunday evening and another rosary servicew will be held Monday evening at 8 p.m.
