Hezzie Cheville Dies in Waterloo At the Age of 90

Hezzie Cheville, 90, longtime resident of Colo and Zearing communities, died Monday morning at 6:40 in the Woodlawn Convalescent Home in Waterloo. He was born in Guelph, Canada, June 25, 1873. For the past year and a half, Cheville had made his home with a daughter in Evansdale, Ia.

Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Nichols of Lakeside, Calif., Mrs. Clara Lane, Nevada; Mrs. Pearl Boyd, Marshalltown; Mrs. Blanche Shearer, Colo; Mrs. Dorothy Wood, Macon, Mo. and Mrs. Mabel Kingler of Evansdale, Ia. Two sons, Harley of Ames and Kenneth of Nevada also survice as do 33 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a sister, Miss Marie Cheville of Los Angeles.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. for Brouhard's Funeral Home in Zearing with Rev. Harry Buss tentatively in charge. Burial will be in the Zearing Cemetery.
