Mrs. Frank Booher Dies Sunday Evening at Prairie City
Word has reached Nevada relatives of the death at Prairie City on Sunday night of Mrs. Frank Booher, former resident of Nevada. Mrs. Booher has been a sufferer from cancer for some time and for the past year her sister-in-law, Mrs. Matilda Ford, has assisted in her care.
Funeral services will be held at Prairie City Tuesday afternoon and a number of Nevada relatives will drive to that place to attend the services. Among those who will probably go are the J. P. and Will Booher families, Mrs. Rena Phillips, Carl Holder and probably other families. Mrs. Booher was the daughter of W. D. Parker*, former Nevada man, and Mr. Booher was for many years an employee of an elevator on the Rock Island in Nevada, before moving to Prairie City.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Maude Angie (Parker) Booher was the daughter of Daniel W. Parker and Delilah Jane Littlejohn.
