Mrs. Martha Bracken Eighty-one Years Old at Time of Her Death.

AMES, Feb. 13.--Mrs. Martha Conley Bracken died Saturday at her home near Evergreen church about five miles south of town, from the infirmities due to advanced age, she being 81 years old. She has been a resident of Story county for the past quarter of a century and was highly respected in the vicinity in which she lived. She had been a widow for three years. The funeral took place from her late home Monday afternoon being conducted by Rev. A. M. Pruitt of the U. B. church of this city and interment was made in the Walnut Grove cemetery, located six mile south of town.
