Bartal Jacobson Found Dead in Story City Home

Story City, Feb. 17 -- Bartal Jacobson was found dead in his bed in his home three miles south of Story City Sunday morning by his nephew, Ernest Jacobson. He was 82 years old. Death was believed to have been caused by a heart attack

Funeral arrangements were not announced this morning but burial will be in Roland cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Jacobson are his sister-in-law, Mrs. Eva Jacobson, Winthrop, Minn., and five nieces and nephews, Mrs. Clarence Knudson and Ernest Jacobson of Story City, Mrs. Kerney Lanning and Mrs. Gjerde of McCallsburg and Lewis Holm of Marshalltown. A sister, Mrs. Lew Carr, of Story City died a few years ago.
