Dies at Home At Age of 89

Addison G. Kingsbury of Nevada Route 2, 89 years of age, died this Saturday morning at 5 a. m. at his home of a heart attack. He had lived in Iowa for 88 years, being born in Stillman Valley, Ill. and coming here within one year of age.

His wife was the former Laura Barbour. They were married at Ames on Oct. 13, 1892 and she preceded him in death in 1948.

There are three children surviving, two sons, Frank and Marion, both of Nevada and one daughter, Mrs. Edna Wahlert, of Williams, Iowa.

He had resided at the home place for 41 years.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p. m. from the Adams Funeral Home in Ames with the Rev. Dean Walters of the Collegiate Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
