Mrs. Fannie Hunt Dies Today at Home of Daughter

Mrs. Fannie Porter Hunt, 98, died this morning at 12:42 at her daughter, Leola Gilmore's Guest Home, 1032 Fifth street. She has been ill the past six months.

Born April 18, 1860, in Washington, Iowa, a daughter of Elizabeth and William French, she had been living in Nevada the past 38 years.

A practical nurse, she was married to Ira D. Porter April 1, 1885. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Surviving are one son, Ira Louis Porter of Sioux Falls, S. D. and four daughters, Mrs. Amy Lemley of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Bessie Martin, Mrs. Florence Olesen and Mrs. Leola Gilmore, all of Nevada.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p. m. with Elder O. P. Jones officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
