Funeral Services for Guy H. Hardin Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for Guy H. Hardin, 58, who died at the state hospital at Clarinda early Wednesday morning, will be held at Memorial Lutheran church Friday afternoon at 2:00, after which interment will be in the Nevada cemetery.

The body arrived here last night is now at the Morfoot Funeral home pending the funeral.

Guy Henry Hardin was born in Story county, Jan. 15, 1875 and passed from this life Nov. 2, 1932. He was the son of W. M. and Sarah Hardin. He was united in marriage to Nellie Nelson, December 6, 1893. To this union was born six children, four with the wife are left to mourn his passing. They are Mrs. Ray Reimer of Marshalltown, Mrs. Simpson Toot and Mrs. Clarence Hilburn of Nevada and son Harry at home. The son Ivan, died Jan. 16, 1919 and a daughter Harriet, June 2, 1930

Mr. Hardin was a member of an old pioneer family and had lived his entire life in Story county. While he had been in poor health the past few years he leaves a large circle of relatives and friends.
