Graveside rite at Cambridge for Mrs. Clara Brooks

Funeral services will be at the Fulton Funeral Home in Belmond Monday at 12:30 p.m. and graveside services at 3 p.m. at the Center Grove Cemetery at Cambridge for Mrs. Clara Brooks, 68, former Nevadan.

Mrs. Brooks died a the Belmond Nursing Home Friday at 5:15 a.m.

Survivors include her children: Mrs. Hilbert Mason of Belmond; Mrs. Charley Smirl of Pittsburg, Kansas; Mrs. Henry Kuhn and Mrs. Robert Wineinger of Nevada, Lyle Gregory of Houston, Tex., Virgil Gregory of Burbank, Calif.; Robert Gregory, Douglas Gregory, all of Waterloo; and James Gregory of Ft. Madison.

Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Phrone Woods of Lawrence, Kas., her sisters, Mrs. Olive Gregory and Mrs. Hazel Everding, both of Nevada; Mrs. Effie Stokesbary of Colo, Mrs. Stella Johnson of Boone, Mrs. Blanche Conrad of Melcher and Mrs. Marjorie Irwin of Tucson, Ariz.; her brothers Howard Stoops of Boone, Charles Stoops of Denver, Albert Stoops of Nevada, and Milton Stoops of Ames; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Her husband, Finlay W. Brooks died in 1965.
