--Mr. James B. Hanson of Collins died Friday at Pasadena, California, whither he had gone to spend the winter. News of his death was received here Sunday and was a great shock to his friends. Mr. Hanson was head of Exchange Bank of Collins and was one the best known and most successful men in the county. He was somewhere in his forties and though he was known to have gone to California for his health, there was not thought that his condition was serious. Particulars of his last illness and of his funeral are yet lacking.
