Final Rites For Mrs. W. Williams

Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. W. H. Williams, 53, who died Saturday, Sept. 25, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Lucille Henderson in Washington, D. C., in the Trinity Lutheran church in Boxholm with the Rev. Herbert Olson in charge of the services.

Two songs, "Rock of Ages" and "When They Say Good Night Here and Good Morning up There" were sung by Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jacobson, accompanied by Mrs. Bob Thorgren at the organ.

Pall bearers were Louis Wilson, Dave Van Pelt, Lawrence Miller, O. E. Doran, Alfred Doran and Lant Doran, all of Beaver.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery beside her husband, the late W. E. Williams, who met a tragic death in a fire in 1945.

A number of Story County friends attended the service.

Obituary

Corda M. Capps was born the daughter of Clifton and Lizzie Capps in Forbus, Tennessee, on December 10, 1894.

On November 24, 1911, she was united in marriage to Willie H. Williams at Jamestown, Tennessee. They moved to Nevada shortly after their marriage and lived in Boone and Story counties, where their children were born.

Mrs. Williams spent her last few years in Washington, D. C., living with her daughter, where she died at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 14 days.

Survivors are her mother, Lizzie Capps of Forbus, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Donickle of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Lucille Henderson and Miss Nellie Williams of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Mary Chingren of Boxholm; two sons, Enos of Muncie, Ind., and Frank of Perry, four grandchildren, and three brothers and four sisters in Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her father, the late Clifton Capps.
