Story City Pioneer Dies, Funeral Services Friday

Story City, July 19--Mrs. Inger Anderson, 79, died Thursday at 11:20 a. m. at the home of her son, Carl Sondall, in Story City. Death was due to a heart ailment.

Mrs. Anderson had been in failing health for the past five months during which time she had made her home with her son, and had been bedfast for the past three weeks.

She was born in Etna, Norway, and came to this country in the year 1888. The family settled in Story City, where she had spent the greater part of her lifetime. She is survived only by the son at whose home she passed away, her husband, H. A. Anderson, having preceded her in death a few years ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Sondall home at 1:30 and at 2:00 at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Story City with the Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
