Miss Thea Sand Dies At Nursing Home This Morning

Miss Thea Sand, 81, died today at the Sunset Home in Story City. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Larson Funeral Home.

Miss Sand has resided at the home for the past six years. Coming to this community 69 years ago she was a housekeeper for many years for Carl Thompson, deceased. After the death of Thompson's wife she raised his two daughters, Mrs. H. E. Whaley and Mrs. W. L. Flockhart, both of Indianapolis.

Miss Sand is survived by a cousin, Tom Thompson of Eagle Grove.
