Vern M. Weir, age 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away December 31, 2018. He was born June 27, 1932 to Orville Weir and Nellie Jones Weir in Colo, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jan O’Brien Weir; his parents, sisters, Edna Ward and Lois Jay; brothers, Harold Weir and Ray Weir. He is survived by his son, D. Joseph Weir (Carol), Minnesota; step-son, Jeff Diehl (Nancy), Colorado; six grand-children, three great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Services entrusted to Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Funeral Home.
