10-Week-Old Twin Dies In Mary Greeley Hospital

STORY CITY: Word was received here this morning of the death of Marlene Joan Ray, 10-week-old twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ray of Route 2, Boone. She died suddenly this morning at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 2 p. m. at the Gilbert Lutheran church with Rev. Paul F. Anderson in charge. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

The body will be at the Lutheran Funeral Home in Story City until Wednesday noon.

She is survived by her parents, twin sister, Darlene Jane; three other sisters, Marla Jo, Barbara Jean and Sharon Ann and her grandparents, Mr.a nd Mrs. Hans Gertsen of Story City and Mr. and Mrs. V. O. Ray of Boone and several aunts and uncles.
