JAMES O'BRYANT DEAD

Former Illinois Man Died at Gilbert

Gilbert, Nov. 18--James Wm. O'Bryant, 72, died at his home in Gilbert Monday, Nov. 14 after a long siege of illness. He was born near Champaign, Ill., April 7, 1855. He married Roxanna Carlock in 1880. She passed away in 1891 and in 1894 he married Roxanna Garlock in 1880. She his wife and 6 children. Albert of Missouri, Anne Mae Patten and Emma Hougham of Berlin, Ill., James W. and Lee of Gilbert and Mrs. Mary Catlett of Ames. Mr. O'Bryant moved to Iowa from Illinois in 1915. Funeral was held at the Adams funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. The body was taken to Berlin, Ill., for interment. Mrs. O'Bryant and Lee accompanied the remains to Berlin.
