The funeral of the late Hugh J. Olinger was conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Presbyterian church. Dr. C. Arnold Stewart conducted the service. Burial was in the Maxwell cemetery. Mr. Olinger was born June 11, 1872 near Maxwell on a farm and in 1900 with his mother moved into town entering into the barber business and which he continued to follow until his death. He was united in marriage to Miss Nora Adel Olinger march 1, 1906. Two children came to bless this home. Horace Clay who only remained with them a short while and preceded his father and Jean Francis who survives with the wife. Mr. Olinger also leaves to mourn his loss three brothers Chas. E. and Logan B. of Maxwell, John B. of Greeley, Colo., and two sisters Mary M. Shaffer of Des Moines and Leota E. Parker of Castana. The sudden death of Mr. Olinger takes away another one of our worthy business men and one that will be greatly missed. He was always at his place in his ship and always had a pleasant greeting for all and was beloved by the entire community. The wife and daughter with other relatives and friends will receive the profound sympathy of the entire community.

A. King, Boone, A. B. Bradley, Iowa Falls.
