STORY CITY, Jan. 5--

Lew Johnson Dead

Lew Johnson, 56, died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock at his home here. Death came suddenly following a heart attack. Born at Ames, he had lived practically all of his life in Story City with the exception of a few years spent in Chicago.

He leaves his wife, a half sister, Mrs. W. A. Craig of Story City, and his step-father, H. L. Valen of Story City.

Funeral rites will be held Tuesday with prayer at the hoem at 1:30 and the funeral at Grace Evangelical church, with burial in the Story City cemetery. Rev. G. L. Bergeman will be in charge.

For the past two years Mr. Johnson had been in charge of the Shellane Gas department of the Ose Hardware Store here.
