SAD DEATH OF BRIDE OF A FEW MONTHS

WIFE OF FORMER NEVADA MAN DIED SUDDENLY IN PERRY HOSPITAL.

Special to the Journal.
Story City, May 23--The death of Mrs. Theresa Hermanson-Dean at a hospital in Perry on Saturday, May 17, came as a great shock to the family and friends in this city. The body was brought to this city, accompanied by the husband, and the funeral services were held from Bethel church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud officiating, interment was in Fairfield cemetery.*

Mrs. Dean was born at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Hermanson west of this city, September 14, 1904 and lived at home as a girl. She attended and graduated from the Story City school with the class of 1922. She attended Iowa State college and while there met and married Edwin Dean, formerly of Nevada, but later of Woodward. They were married at Des Moines December 15, 1923.

Their marriage was not generally known and the announcement of this also came as a surprise to many.

Heart failure was the cause of her death, with occured at the hospital in Perry.

She was a most estimable young woman and the husband and other relatives will receive the sympathy of all. She leaves her husband, her father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Glen Mackey and Olive Hermanson besides a host of other relatives and friends.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Theresa (Hermanson) Dean is buried in the Story City Cemetery also known as the Fairview Cemetery.
