ROLAND ROCKETS
BY HANS HUSTLER.

Mrs. Hermanson, mother of T. P. Hermanson, died at her home near Story City last Thursday after a lingering sickness of nearly one year. Mrs. Hermanson was a native of Denmark, and came to America in 1871, settling on a farm in Lafayette township, where she resided until death. One year ago she became a afflicted with cancer of the stomach, a disease that baffles medical skill. She lived to pass the three score mark being 61 years old at the time she was called to the other shore. She leaves a husband, four sons and three daughters to mourn mother's death. Her life was one that made the world brighter and better by reason of her having lived in it. The funeral was conducted at Story City on Saturday by Rev. Smedahl of this place.
