Death Wednesday Of Mrs. Chas. Hansen

Story county relatives and friends were saddened Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 in the death of Mrs. Charles S. Hansen, of Milford township, mother of Mrs. Harry Sorenson of this city and William Hansen of Milford township, following a short illness with a heart ailment.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. at Memorial Lutheran church with the Rev. E. P. Windman officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery. The body was taken from the Dixon Funeral home this morning to the Hansen home where it will lie in state until the time of service.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, March 31, 1877, Mrs. Hansen came to America at the age of 15. She is survived by her husband, Chas. S. Hansen, whom she married in Lake Forest, Ill., her daughter, Mrs. Harry Sorensen and son William Hansen, besides seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She moved to Story county from Chicago 13 years ago.
