O.C. Melohn Funeral To Be Held Monday

Funeral services for O. C. Melohn, 1003 11th Street, Nevada, who died at the home of his son, in Altadena, California Wednesday will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 1:30 with the Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Mr. Melohn was 75 years of age. He was born August 6, 1889 in Philo, Illinois the son of George and Mary Melohn. He had been a resident of Story County the past 65 years. He was a retired contractor and a Charter Member of the Moose Lodge #520 at Ames, Iowa.

He is survived by one son: Harvey Melohn of Altadena, California and two daughters: Mrs. Ray (Irene) Pritchard of Sun Valley, Calif. and Mrs. Don (Caroline) Hankins of Phoenix, Arizona. One sister: Mrs. C.V. Donaldson of Ligonier, Indiana. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three brothers, an infant daughter and his wife, Sena, who died in 1952.
