OBITUARTIES

Ray Dulaney

Ray Dulaney, 83, of Nevada died March 1 at Rolling Green Village Retirement Home on congestive heart failure.

Dulaney was born Agu. 23, 1906, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., to William L. and Ida M. Dulaney. He married Hulda Miller Feb. 17, 1931, in Aredale and lived in Story County for the past 60 years. He was a retired employee of Iowa State University and a member of Nevada Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers, one son and on daughter. Survivors include one son, Wayne M. Dulaney, Nevada; one daughter, Alice Kearns, Ames, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and four sisters, Ethel Dulaney and Lois Fairchild, both of Bluford, Ill., Hazel Creamer of New Ulm, Minn., and Doris Spellman of Mt. Vernon, Ill.

Funeral services were held March 3 at Chet Ryan Mortuary with the Rev. Roy Sanders officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.
