HELEN HANSON

Helen Hanson, 92, of Story City died Wednesday evening, January 14, 1981, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She had been in a nursing home in Des Moines at 721 - 16th St. for several years.

She was born Nov. 18, 1868, Plattesville, Ill., to Hogan and Sarah Frette. On May 17, 1916, she married Henry Hanson. He died June 14, 1972.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 17, at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Chapel in Story City, with Rev. Orville Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery. The body will lie in state from Friday evening until the time of services at Soderstrum - Larson Funeral Home, Story City. Mrs. Hanson is survived by several nieces and nephews.
