FORMER NEVADA WOMAN BURIED TODAY

BODY OF MRS. LOIS FENN-DODDS ARRIVED THIS MORNING FOR INTERMENT.

The body of Mrs. Lois Fenn-Dodds, 55, arrived here this morning over the Northwestern, from Winnemua, Nevada, where she had died Wednesday of last week. Met here by a small party of relatives and friends it was taken directly to the Nevada cemetery, where it was interred in the Fenn family lot, following a short prayer service by Rev. J. George Walz of Central Presbyterian church. The body was accompanied by the husband, J. W. Dodds. The younger sister, Mrs. Georgia Fenn-Hilman, had arrived the latter part of the week from her home and Binghampton, N. Y., and arranged for interment.

Cancer was the cause of the death of Mrs. Dodds, she having been failing for many months. She leaves her husband but no children. She also leaves her sister, Mrs. Hilman of Binghampton and another sister, Mrs. Fenn-Wright of Los Angeles.

The Fenns were well known in Nevada in an early day. The father, E. Wwight [sic] Fenn*, with his wife cam her shortly after the war or about that time and for many years he was identified with the commercial and public life of the community. He was active in democratic circles of the county and held the post office here under Cleveland.

Mrs. Fenn died in 18888 and the family home was finally broken up here in 1890 when the members scattered to various points, Mrs. Hilman to the home of her sister, Mrs. Dodds which was in Atlanta, Ga., at that time. Since then the Dodds home has been in Denver, and various other points.

Lois Lillian Fenn was born in Nevada Jan. 1, 1868 and died at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada, April 11, 1923, making her 55 years, 3 months and 10 days of age.
