Anthony John Terrones passed away at his home, September 18, 2018. He was the youngest son of Doroteo and Carmel Terrones, born on July 2, 1944 in Colo, Iowa. He married Jane Tyer in 2005 and was the brother to Joann Follett, Gregory Terrones (deceased), and Virginia Allen.

Anthony was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War with the 25th Infantry. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for in excess of 35 years. He enjoyed traveling throughout the USA to visit family and friends, and attend music concerts. He was an avid collector of hats from all of his travels.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to honor Anthony may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Memorial mass will be held at 11:00, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 East First Street, Ankeny, IA 50021. Lunch will be at the church after the mass. Military burial will follow the lunch, at Ames Municipal Cemetery, 310 E 9th Street.
