Sherrill Marie Corbin, 82, of Nevada, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, at Rollin Green Village in Nevada.

Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, September 27 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 28, also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Center Grove Cemetery near Cambridge.

Sherrill was born February 6, 1936, in Cambridge, Iowa the daughter of George Edward and Beola (Heileman) Jennings. She graduated from Slater High School in 1954 and on May 28, 1955, she was united in marriage to Otis Corbin at the Slater United Methodist Church. Sherrill had worked for Schodeman Accounting, Stevens Accounting and retired from the Story County Clerk of Court. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, enjoyed traveling and was an avid Iowa State Cyclone fan. Sherrill loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sherrill is survived by her children: Dennis (Nancy) Corbin of Nevada, Jeffrey (Jackie) Corbin of Royersford, PA, Karl (Joy) Corbin of Jewell, Kris (Deb) Corbin of Nevada and Lynn (Mark) Peterson of Nevada; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers: Edward and Mervin Jennings; and her sister, Muriel Stevens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Green Village or Suncrest Hospice.
