Mrs. Ed Briggs Dies On Wednesday

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Adams chapel for Mrs. Ed. Briggs, 911 Clark, Ames, former Nevada woman, who died at Mary Greeley Hospital Wednesday at 7:35.

The Rev. LaVerne Ervin of the First Christian church ill officiate at the services and interment is to be at the Ames Municipal cemetery.

Mrs. Briggs came to Ames in 1939. She was born June 17, 1888, Stedman, North Carolina. She was a member of the Christian church. Death followed a two month period of illness with cancer.

Surviving are her husband of Ames, one brother, James Howll of Stedman, N. C., and one sister, Mrs. Sully Hair of Steman. She was a member of the Nevada W.R.C.
