Creede Melvin Brooke

Creede Melvin Brooke, 62, of Maxwell died at hiss [sic] home Saturday night.

He had farmed in the Loring area since 1941.

Brooke is survived by his wife Lola Madge of Maxwell, one son, Ken, of Sioux City; a daughter, Donna Beals of Collins; a son-in-law, Sic Winchell of Atlantic; 3 sisters, Marjorie Mendenhall of Coffey, Mo., Mrs. Cleo Grady of Macon, Mo. and Edith Foster of Omaha, Mo., a brother, Dean Brooke of Bethany, Mo. and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Mildred Winchell of Atlantic.

Servces will be held at the Loring United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. tomorrow with Rev. William Steward officiating. Burial will be in the Loring Cemtery [sic].

Friends may call at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell until noon tomorrow.
