Funeral Services for Mrs. H. G. Greenlee

Funeral services for Mrs. H. G. Greenlee passed away at her home in Chicago, Sept. 5, was held at the Adams Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 2:30. Interment was in Ames cemetery, Iva Mae Dunkle was born on a farm near Gilbert, March 13, 1894. and was educated in the Gilbert grade school and also attended the Ames high school. On May 4, 1914, she was united in marriage to Harry G. Greenlee also of Ames, where they resided for two years after their marriage when they moved to Chicago where they have made their home for the past 15 years. To this union one child was born Evelyn Jeanette now 10 years of age. For the past year she had been in declining health, suffering at times from a nervous breakdown which finally resulted in her death. She leaves to mourn her death besides her husband and daughter, her mother, Mrs. Henry Dunkle of Algona, two sisters, Mrs. Lois Rushmore also of Algona and Mrs. Effie Dodds of Ocean Park, California; one brother, C. H. Dunkle of Chicago, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Dearest Iva thou hast left us
And the loss we greatly feel,
But 'tis God who hath bereft us
He can all our sorrow heal.
