DEATH ENTERED STORY CITY HOMES

MRS. WALTER HERMANSON AND MRS. CHRIS BOE ARE DEAD

Story City, Sept. 16--Two deaths have shocked Story City people within the last 48 hours.

Mrs. Walter Hermanson, 53, well known wife and mother, died at the home of her son Leonard Hermanson in Story City Sunday evening from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy suffered about two weeks before and from which she had recovered consciousness.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Bethany Lutheran church.

She was born on a farm in Hamilton county three miles from Roland and for the past 30 years has lived on a farm near Story City

She is survived by her husband, seven sons, Leonard, Carroll, Theodore, Robert, Marion and Edward, all of Story City and Bordsall of North Dakota; one daughter, Mildred at home; a brother, Otis Olson of Roland and three sisters, Carrie and Hannah of Roland and Lena of Santa Rosa, California.

The second death was that of Mrs. Chris Boe, Story city woman, who died at the hoe of relatives in South Dakota, on Sunday. Mrs. Boe had gone there for a visit a week ago. The body will be brought back here for funeral and interment.

The Boe famly move to Story City about 12 years ago from a farm wet of Rosendale.

Mrs. Boe is survived by her husband and eight children. Four of the children, Mike Boe, Ole Boe, Mrs. Hans Gertsen and Mrs. Henry O. Jacobson reside in Story City while the other four live in South Dakota.
