Peter Brendeland Died at Kelley

Kelley, June 23--Peter P. Brendeland, 65 years old and old time resident of Story county, died at his home in Kelley at 6 o'clock Sunday morning June 22, after an illness of about a year due to complications resulting in heart trouble.

Mr. and Mrs. Brendeland came to Kelley 36 year ago from Huxley and have resided here since. He is survived by his wife and eight children all of whom were present at the time of his death. They are Arthur Brendeland of Albert Lea, Minn., Palmer Brendeland of Nevada, Mrs. Alton Legge of Boone, Ben, Ole and Leroy Brendeland, Mrs. Arthur Buente and Mrs. Lee Hutchinson all of Kelley. One daughter, Pearl, died at the age of one year.

Funeral services will be held at the Bethany Lutheran church in Kelley Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev. Rorem officiating and burial in the Lutheran cemetery.*
