Mrs. Sophia Axelson Died at Sanitarium At 10 Last Night

Mrs. Sophia Axelson, 72, died at Iowa Sanitarium last night, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis which she suffered on Friday. Mrs. Axelson whose home was at Exira, had been with her relatives here since December.

The body will be taken overland to Des Moines on Wednesday and from there on the train to Exira where the funeral service and intement will be held Thursday.

Mrs. Axelson was born at Vesterkov, Denmark, November 13, 1857, and had been in this country about 52 years.

She was the mother of Prof. Arthur Axelson of Oak Park academy and Mrs. Henry Anderson, also of Nevada.

Mrs. Axelson was a member of the Seventhday Adventist church in the service of which she had long been active.
