HOUGLAND FUNERAL

Body of Former Resident Brought Back for Burial

Special to the Journal.
Gilbert, June 12--Mrs. V. A. Helfensleen of Bedford, Mrs. Geo. Rosenfeld of Malvern, Howard Hougland of New York City, Clifford Hougland of Ames and Neal Hougland of Iowa Center came Friday to attned the funeral of their father Mr. John Houglan, who died suddenly, Tuesday afternoon, June 3 at Carnovan, of apoplexy. The funeral was held at the Gilbert Lutheran church Friday, June 6, at 2:30 Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge of the services. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery north of Gilbert.
