Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Lester Dale Hanson was born on June 29, 1926 to Alby and Alice Hanson. He was a medic in the Army from 1950 to `953. After his discharge, Lester married Kathryn Graves on May 2, 1953. He was a lifetime resident of the Jewell/Ellsworth area and he enjoyed mowing, yardwork and working outside in in his garage.
Lester passed away April 29, 2018 at Bethany Manor in Story City at the age of 91.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of Story City; two daughters, Roxanne Jackson of Ellsworth and Dixie (Dave) Gardner of Amity, Pennsylvania; three sons, Rick of Hutchinson, KS, Randy (Janet) of Aurora, CO and Dale (Sue) of Earlham, IA; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Leslie and a sister, Maxine Baker.
