OBITUARY

Selius John Jondall was horn at Story City. Iowa, August 23, 1888, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. Ole Jondall, and he died at the Story City hospital Feb. 13, 1931. At the time of his death he was 42 years and 6 months old.

He was baptized by Rev, Amlund and confirmed by Rev Vamgness at the St. Petri Lutheran church.

In 1908 he moved to Chugwater, Wyo., and took np a homestead, where he lived about seven years. August 24, 1916. he married to Alice Sealin at Cheyenne, Wyo., and from there moved to Odin, Minn., where they lived on his father's farm.

Three years later they purchased a farm at St. James, Minn., and at this; place he took sick and for the last 11 years has heen suffering from diabetes. Due to his poor health he had to give up this place, and moved back to Story City where he could be near his parents.

To this union two children were horn. One daughter Dorothy, preceded htm in death 12 years ago, being only 13 months old. Vernon, 10 years old, and
his mother survive him.

Besides his wife and son he leaves a mother, Mrs. Ole Jondall, four sisters, Mrs. Thea Barnes, Mrs. Ole Jacobson, Mrs. Clarence Jacobson and Marie Jondall, and brother, Henry Jondall,

Funeral was held Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the St. Petri Church, Rev. Scarvie officiating. The pallbearers were: Wm. Ecemo, Martin Henryson, John Thorsnes Gerhard Thorson, Otto Christensen and William Peterson. Interment was made in the Fairview cemetery. Among those from a distance at the funeral were: Mrs. Henry Jondall and sister of Slater and Mrs. Jondall-Wagner and daughters of Ottumwa.
