Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Steven Qvale, 63, of Ames passed away Monday, March 26, at Mary Greely Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 26, at Inis Grove Park - Shagbark Shelter beginning at 11:30 am.

Steven Edmann Qvale was born June 18, 1954 to Obert and Evangeline (Block) Qvale in Minnesota. He grew up in Story City graduating from Roland Story High School in 1973. Steven and his wife Nancy married on May 29, 1984 in Ames. He was the owner of Artisan Plumbing retiring in December of 2017. Steven enjoyed drinking coffee, working with his hands, and photography. His love for music could be seen by his record collection that went on for miles.

Steven is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Ronda (Dan) Anderson of Huntsville, Alabama; three grandchildren, Kya Qvale of Hoover, Alabama, Michael and Johnathan Anderson of Huntsville, Alabama

He was preceded in death by his parents.
