Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Beverly Millang passed away March 13, 2018 at the Madrid Home in Madrid. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 16 at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery immediately following the service.

Beverly Ann Millang was born January 28, 1932 to Gerhard and Myrtle (Thompson) Millang in Milford Township near Story City, Iowa. She worked as a homemaker and at Bethany Manor as a secretary. She enjoyed baking, cooking, dancing, quilting, fishing, playing cards, and entertaining friends and family.

Beverly is survived by her children: Bruce (Jo) Mortvedt of Story City and their children, Amy Hall, Terri Nordin and Ryan Mortvedt; Nancy (Chadwick) Raymond of Northbrook, Ill. and their sons, Jason Raymond and Lucas Raymond; Tim (Deborah) Mortvedt of Wilton, N.H. and their daughters, Anna Schaefer and Emily Lambelet; and Jane Morgan of Mooresville, N.C. and her daughter, Jessica Morgan; and her sisters, Ruth Charlson and Esther Howerton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard Millang and Myrtle Caruth; her brothers, Don Millang and Marvin Millang; her sisters, Louise Anderson and Mary Charlson; her beloved grandson, Sam Mortvedt; and her great-grandson, Elias Schaefer.
