Henry O. Erickson
ZEARING -- Funeral service was held for Henry O. Erickson March 25 at Bethel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Zearing. The Rev. Darald D. Eller officiated.
A quartet of Dale Johnston, Gorden Lundy, Eldon Crain and Paul Lundy sang. Mrs. Walter Lund played the organ.
Pallbearers were Wilbur Eley, George Gaunt, Alfred Oakland, Aksel Larson, Merlin Holveck and Claude Manning.
Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Claude Manning and Mrs. Wilbur Eley.
Burial was in Zearing Cemetery.
Henry O. Erickson, son of Benjamin and Lurenza Erickson was born April 18, 1886, and died March 22 at 69.
He was born near Huxley where he grew to manhood. He was confirmed in Lincoln Lutheran Church, Huxley. He was married to Charlotte Rahfeldt Jan. 21, 1914. The couple had a son, Jesse, now of Wichita, Kan.
Surviving are his wife and son, three brothers and four sisters also survive -- Severi, Zearing; Lewis, Kelly; Eddie, Maxwell; Mrs. Anna Fry, Mrs. Clara Lande, Bertine ? and Mrs. Hilda Madigran?, all of Ames; and three grandchildren, Terry, Craig, and Linda Kay Erickson, Wichita. Wayne Wyatt of Cedar Point who was raised in the Erickson home also survives.
