Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Paula Conis, age 46, passed away February 17, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. February 24, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery at a later date.

Paula Jean Conis was born September 17, 1971 to Paul Eugene and Virginia Claire (Purvis) Janssen in Iowa City, Iowa. Paula graduated from Collins-Maxwell High School in 1990 and married Greg Conis on July 16, 1993. Paula was a purchasing manager at PUTCO in Des Moines, where she had worked for 24 years. Paula’s family was the center of her life.

Paula is survived by her husband, Greg Conis of Story City; her sons, Chase (Connie Otto) Conis of Nevada and Daniel Conis of Story City; her brothers, Gene Janssen of Ames and Jimmie (Jackie Fox) Janssen of Ames; her sister, Amy (Troy) Theilen of Ames; and Greg's parents, Pete and Barb Conis of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be addressed to the family.
