Donald Leroy Templeton
(July 27, 1934 - December 10, 2017)

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Don Templeton, of Burnsville, MN passed away on Sunday evening December 10th 2017, at the age of 83. He is the son of Lloyd Templeton and Pauline, Don was born in Ames IA. July 27, 1934. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one brother, Bob. Don was survived by five half sisters and one half brother; loving wife of 62 years Lola; two sons, Randy (LaRae) Templeton; Kevin (Marj) Templeton and one daughter Kimberly (Todd) Raberge. He also was so proud to have 11 grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan, Connor, Chase, Weston, Dane, Mitchel, Jaime, Rueben, Marny and Valerie, as well as great-grandchildren, Adelynn, Millie, Kali, Riley, Sammy, Grayson, Cohen, Charleigh and one more due in January. Don served in the US Army after graduation, met and married Lola and moved to the Twin Cities where he and Lola raised their three children. Don retired after 35 years with Ophtalmology Associates, as a Contact Lens Technician. He was passionate about his family, golf and watching football. We will forever miss the tickles, teasing and the twinkle in his eye, but his family is comforted with the knowledge that he is safe with our Lord.

Funeral service will be Saturday Dec. 23rd at 11:00 AM. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service, followed by a luncheon. Arrangements through White Funeral Home. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Valley Church.
