Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Edna Delores Hellekson was born on October 17, 1922 to Andrew and Sarah (Heggen) Wenos in Ames, Iowa. She married Orval Hellekson in February 25, 1945. He died November 9, 1993.

Edna passed away November 17, 2017 at the Madrid Home at the age of 95.

Edna is survived by a son, Dean Hellekson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Marilyn Gelinas of Newton; four grandchildren, Brett, Janice, Heidi and Sarah and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Hailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orval; and an infant son, Robert.

Memorials may be made to Fjeldberg Church Cemetery.
