SAMUEL WYANT

Samuel Wyant, well known veteran, died at his home in this city this morning after an illness of long duration, which had toward the end been recognized as necessarily fatal. He was a native of Pennsylvania and served in the Union army in a regiment from that state. After the war he moved to Illinois and a dozen years ago or so came to Nevada where he has since resided. He and Mrs. Wyant celebrated very happily their golden wedding here three years ago. He was seventy-six years of age and leaves a wife and two married daughters, Mrs. Percy Wallsworth of this city and another in Middletown, Illinois. The funeral will be conducted Thursday at two o'clock from the Christian Church.
